Rametin ML – give your ML a boost
Another way to protect against ML resistant worms
is to combine your ML with another potent active.
This combines the broad efficacy of the ML with
the potency of the second drench to kill ML resistant
worm strains.

Rametin
ML provides;
- A ‘top of the class’ efficacy of 99.8%
against mixed worm infections
- 99.9% efficacy against barber’s pole
worm (Haemonchus contortus)
- 99.0% efficacy against brown stomach
worm (Teladorsagia circumcincta).
All efficacies quoted above have been achieved
against known macrocyclic lactone resistant
strains of parasites. |
More powerful on mixed worm burdens
More powerful on more worms, Rametin ML contains
naphthalophos, an anticholinesterase compound,
and abamectin, a macrocyclic lactone. When combined
as directed they demonstrated higher efficacy against
multi-resistant (including macrocyclic lactone
resistant) strains of major worm species even when
compared to the current leading drench. The most
common method of determining drench efficacy on
farm, as used in these tests, is the faecal egg
count reduction test (FECRT). Multi–resistant (including
macrocyclic lactone–resistant) strains of each
worm species were used in the clinical trial that
produced the results detailed in this brochure.
Individual testing is recommended to determine
the resistance status of worms on your property.
| Rametin ML offers you a powerful alternative
to a straight ML drench or other combination
drenches whose effectiveness has been weakened
due to resistant worms. |
